A poor batting show has led Chennai Super Kings to suffer back-to-back defeats in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The reigning champions started the campaign by thrashing Royal Challengers Bangalore at home. CSK replicated the dominance in the following game against Gujarat Titans which was also at Chepauk. In the next two away games, Chennai failed miserably. They endured a 20-run defeat to Delhi Capitals in Vizag before losing to Sunrisers Hyderabad by six wickets.
