‘Indian Hi Hai Yeh… Gaali Baap ko de Raha Hai’: Livid Haris Rauf Fights with Pakistan Fan; Abuses in Full Public View

A video is doing the rounds on social media in which Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf allegedly can be seen getting angry at a fan, who asked for a photo to be clicked. A livid Rauf can be seen charging at the fan on the sidewalk in full public view before he is stopped by a couple of bystanders and Rauf’s wife, who was accompanying the Pakistani player.

In the video captured by a passerby, Rauf seems to have been triggered by something the fan had said after being denied a photo. Rauf loses his cool and tries to confront the fan, who can be later seen trying to clarify that he only wanted a photo to be clicked. However, even after being held back by a couple of men, Rauf tries to break free and continues to shower down expletives at the fan. Rauf can be heard saying, “How can you abuse my father,” (gaali baap ko de raha hai) before proceeding to say, “Indian hi hai yeh’ (He is surely Indian).”

The fan then clarifies that he is in fact from Pakistan. Still, Rauf’s anger boils over further and he shouts at the fan asking him, “Pakistan se hai, fir bhi yeh teri haalat hai (this is your situation despite being from Pakistan)”?

Even as Rauf is being hauled away from the scene by his wife and others, he continues to shout at the fan in full public view.
