Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant was all smiles as he interacted with the children of his overseas teammates. Ahead of Delhi Capitals’ next Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 fixture, the franchise shared an adorable video of the wicketkeeper batter. Once called a babysitter by former Australian captain Tim Paine, Pant lived up to that tagline as he indulged in some wholesome conversations with the little ones, laughing and giggling all the time. The kids also seemed to enjoy the Indian cricketer’s presence as one of them hugged him while another shook his hand. “We’ve got Pant, Rishabh Pant. Rishabh Pant made a return to competitive cricket in this season’s IPL. The Indian wicketkeeper had not featured in an official match since his accident in December 2022. This led to the cricketer missing out on some big tournaments like the World Test Championship Final 2023, the ICC World Cup, and the Asia Cup.
Rishabh Pant has represented Team India in 33 Tests, 30 ODIs and 66 T20Is. In those matches, the southpaw has smashed4123 runs. Pant has also been a consistent performer in the IPL with 3048 runs in eight seasons of the competition.
