Watch: Virat Kohli Gives A Tour Of His 'Dream Home' In Alibaug
After playing a big role in helping India win the T20 World Cup 2024 final, Virat Kohli is spending time with his family in London these days.

Batting superstar Virat Kohli took to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday (July 9) to share the first glimpse of his ‘dream home’ in Alibaug, a coastal town located in western India. The 35-year-old cricketer, who was a key member of the Indian team that won the T20 World Cup 2024 final in Barbados on June 29, also talked about why he chose this project and the intricate and subtle detailing of the home in a video that is now going viral on the internet.

While calling it a ‘seamless experience’, Kohli recalled the journey of building the lavish home in Alibaug.

“The journey of building my Alibaug home has been a seamless experience, and seeing it all come together is truly gratifying. Huge thanks to the entire Avas team for making our dream home a reality. Can’t wait to enjoy every moment here with my loved ones,” read the post shared by the star batter.

In the video, Virat said, “When I heard the plans, the project in itself is very unique. You have a sense of community, but at the same time, you have your own privacy and access to all the amenities you would need in a holiday home. The fact that you have a world-class spa right next door is obviously the USP for me. So, all of that coming together, for me, was a no-brainer.”

He added, “I love the living space the most and also the access to the outdoors from the living space. Aesthetically, the home is done beautifully, and it is exactly the way I like with regards to interiors and natural light coming in. It’s very subtle and classy. The space allows you to just unwind and not worry about anything else.”

It was reported in November 2022 that Kohli and his wife, actor Anushka Sharma, had bought a villa in Alibaug. An Instagram post shared back then showcased pictures of a private pool, a 10-seater dining table, and a huge living room.

Kohli is currently spending time with his family in London. He returned from the West Indies on July 4, and after meeting PM Narendra Modi in Delhi and attending the victory parade in Mumbai, he boarded the flight to London on the same day.
