BSEB To Announce Result Date For Bihar Board Intermediate Exams Soon

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) recently held the Intermediate (class 12th) exams from February 1 to February 12. The BSEB has not yet confirmed an official date for announcing the results. Students can check their scores on the Bihar Board’s official website, secondary.biharboardonline.com once the results are out.

The Trend of Bihar Board Inter Results in Recent Years

Let’s review how the board has released Inter Results over the past six years. Last year, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) held the Class 12 exams from February 1 to 11, 2023. The results were declared on March 21. In recent years, the board has been setting records for releasing Inter results timely. This year, the Bihar Board Inter result is expected to be out in the second or third week of March.

Changes in Bihar Board Inter Exam Structure

The board decided to introduce 50 per cent objective-type questions in the Inter examination. In the practical paper, out of 100 marks, 30 marks were allocated for the practical exam and 70 marks for the theory exam. In the theory paper worth 70 marks, half, which is 35 marks, were Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), while the remaining 35 marks consisted of subjective theory questions.

The Board has included an extra optional paper in the Intermediate examinations. In Paper 1, worth 100 marks, students have to choose between Hindi and English. For Paper 2, students can select any one of the 12 languages provided, each carrying 100 marks. Additionally, students have the choice to opt for a sixth paper related to a specific stream or select any one of the 12 languages as an additional subject.

The Bihar Board adhered to its schedule despite facing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, the Inter examinations took place from February 3 to 13, with the results announced on March 24. Similarly, in 2021, the results for the examinations ended on February 13 were announced on March 26.
