Three Indian higher education institutes secured a place in top 50 of the Financial Times Masters in Management (FT MiM) global ranking 2024. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) secured 35th rank globally climbing 5 spots from 2023. Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) secured 39th climbing 5 spots from and IIM Bengaluru has secured 41st place.
India’s performance has improved in the FT MiM ranking as 14 Indian institutes have secured ranks in the top 100 as compared to 11 institutes in 2023. In 2024, three business schools have secured a spot in the top 50 list as compared to two last year.
IIM Lucknow and IIM Calcutta secured 55th and 56th rank respectively followed by XLRI — Xavier School of Management on 65th and IIM Kozhikode on 68th spot. Other Indian institutes in the top 100 of FT MiM 2024 ranking include SCMHRD at 76th, IIM Udaipur at 81st, IIM Indore at 83rd, Management Development Institute Gurgaon at 85th, International Management Institute New Delhi at 86th, NMIMS Mumbai’s School of Business Management at 94th, and Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad at 97th.
FT Masters in Management Ranking 2024: India Institutes In Top 100
Switzerland’s University of St Gallen secured the first rank on the FT MiM 2024 ranking globally, followed by France’s HEC Paris and Insead on second and third ranks respectively. Notably, six of the top 10 institutes are from France, and 24 French institutes feature in the top 100. In contrast, China has only two institutes on the list: Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Antai and Tongji University’s School of Economics and Management.
