The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and Rajasthan’s Mahavir Open University (VMOU) have extended their application deadline for the new session. This allows students the opportunity to pursue degree and diploma programmes from the comfort of their homes.
The deadline for admission to IGNOU has been extended to February 29, 2024. Similarly, Mahavir Open University Kota has also extended its admission deadline for the 2024 session until February 29.
Professor Ravindra Kumar Meena, coordinator of IGNOU Study Center 23132 at Government College, Karauli, affiliated with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in New Delhi, stated that students who have not yet completed their fresh registration or re-registration can enroll in various diploma courses through IGNOU by registering before February 29, 2024. Additionally, he mentioned that under IGNOU’s Girls Distance Education Scheme, female students of all ages enrolled in any course will also receive fee reimbursement benefits.
The coordinator of Mahavir Open University announced that for the first time, the university is offering direct admission based on merit, without the need for an entrance examination, for the SICTE-approved MBA 2-year course. This opportunity is open to private businessmen, students, women, as well as employees of banks, companies, corporations, and state and central government agencies. Additionally, the admission deadline for all certificate and diploma programmes, both undergraduate and postgraduate, at VMOU for the 2024 session has been extended until February 29.
Meanwhile, the IGNOU has released the results for the December 2023 Term End Exam (TEE) on its official website, ignou.ac.in. Students can now access and download their IGNOU Term End Exam Result 2024 by entering their enrollment number.
For those who are not satisfied with their results, the option of reevaluation is available. They can apply for revaluation and request a copy of their answer script within 40 days of the result declaration. The IGNOU TEE December 2023 exam was conducted in two shifts from December 1, 2023, to January 9, 2024, accommodating a significant number of students.
