JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Answer Key: Candidates need to pay Rs 200 per question if they wish to challenge the answer key. The payment for the processing fee must be made by 11:50 pm today

The window to raise objection to the provisional answer key for JEE Main 2024 Session 2 will close today, April 14. Candidates can download the answer key for the JEE Main Session 2 along with their recorded responses from the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2024 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on April 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9.

“The Provisional Answer Keys of Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), along with the Question Papers with Recorded Responses have been uploaded on the website https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/ for the interested candidates to submit challenge to the Provisional Answer Keys (if any) online,” reads the official notice by NTA.

Candidates need to pay Rs 200 per question if they wish to challenge the answer key. The payment for the processing fee may be made through a Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking till 11:50 PM. “No challenge will entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The fee towards the challenge will not be accepted through any other mode,” the NTA added.

JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Answer Key 2024: How to raise objection?

Step 1- Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.

Step 2 – Then click on the tab that specifies the JEE Main 2024 Answer Key.

Step 3 – Use your application number and date of birth to log in.

Step 4 – After entering your credentials click on submit and the JEE Mains 2024 answer key should be displayed on your screen.

Step 5 – You can now download the NTA JEE Main answer key and take a printout for future reference.

Step 6 – Then you will be required to find the ‘Challenges Regarding JEE Main answer key 2024’ section and click on it.

Step 7 – Select the question you want to challenge.

Step 8 – Upload substantial documents, pay the fees. Submit.

Step 9 – Download and save the confirmation page for further use.

As per the official notice, if any challenge made by the candidate is found correct, the answer key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised final answer keys, the result will be prepared and declared in due course of time. “No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/nonacceptance of his/her challenge. The Keys finalized by the Experts after the settlement of the challenge will be final,” the notice added.

As per the marking scheme, each question carries four marks and one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. Candidates can use the marking scheme and the answer key to get an estimate of their probable scores.
