The NorthCap University in India and the University of East Anglia (UEA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in order to improve the undergraduate dual degree programmes and give students access to worldwide mobility opportunities. Through these courses, students will earn dual degrees that will enable them to attend both Indian and UK universities with other international students.

This collaboration intends to create a continuous educational experience, allowing students to begin their studies in India and finish them at UEA in the United Kingdom. The dual degrees are intended to provide extensive foreign experience, expanded curriculum, and increased professional options in a global setting. To help with financial burdens and to promote academic success, each student enrolling in the dual degree courses will receive a £4,000 scholarship.

The NorthCap University, Gurugram has partnered with the School of Engineering and Technology, School of Management and Liberal Studies, School of Law, and School of Business. Students who complete their B. Tech CSE (full-stack specialisation) can enrol in UEA’s BSc Computer Science with Software Development programme. BCom (Hons) students with a concentration in Financial Markets can enrol in the BA International Business Management degree at UEA. UEA offers degrees in International Business Management and Marketing and Management, which may be obtained through the BBA specialisations in Entrepreneurship, Family Business, and Digital Marketing. Additionally, students pursuing a BCom/BBA (Hons) with a focus on community service may be able to transfer to comparable UEA degrees based on their electives in marketing, HRM, or finance.

Professor David Maguire, Vice-Chancellor, University of East Anglia, UK, commented on the signing of the MoU, saying, “It is crucial for academic institutions to curate programmes that offer our students access to different cultures and knowledge centres. We are pleased with our strategic partnerships with reputed Indian institution like The NorthCap University.”

He went on to say that the combined academic strength will give students with great educational opportunities that will not only improve their employability but also extend their perspectives.
