Also known as Vinayaka Chaturhi, it is one of the biggest festivals celebrated in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and is observed for around 9 to 11 days.

Furthermore, many schools remain closed on both Saturday and Sunday. If your school or college is closed on both Saturday and Sunday, then you will get nine days of holiday in September. There are four Saturdays and five Sundays in this month. Dome schools also remain closed on the third or last Saturday of the month. September 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 are Sundays whereas September 7, 14, 21, and 28 are Saturdays.
