The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has announced a significant change in its admission process for the upcoming academic year 2025-26. TISS will now accept the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 scores for three additional postgraduate programmes.

The three postgraduate courses that will now consider CAT 2024 scores for admission include the Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations, the Master of Arts in Organisation Development, Change and Leadership, and the Master of Hospital Administration, as per the official notification. This decision marks an expansion of the institute’s adoption of the CAT as a criterion for selection.

Previously, TISS conducted its own entrance examination, the TISS National Entrance Test (TISS NET), as the primary mode of assessment for admissions into both its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The official notice reads, “Candidates should follow the Common Admission Test 2024 (CAT 2024) advertisement/CAT 2024 website for registration for the CAT 2024 Examination. All additional details, updates, and notifications, as applicable, will soon be accessible on the Institute’s website at admissions.tiss.edu/admissions/ma/programmes. TISS does not assume responsibility for any information provided by sources other than the institute website.”
