UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University To Offer Free UPSC CSE Preparation Course

Preparing for the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE) is quite challenging. From reading correct books to covering all the necessary topics, preparing for the written test and interviews can be quite nerve-wracking. Often, students opt for coaching classes that charge a good amount of fees. While many have been able to crack the exams, others reappear for it next year. If you are preparing for UPSC CSE and recruitment examinations conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, there is good news.

Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) will now prepare candidates for these recruitment examinations. For this, the university will start a six-month certificate course. The preparations for this have already begun. UPRTOU is currently updating the current affairs and other topics for the Civil Service Examination. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Satyakam shared that the preparations for the Civil Service Examination are ongoing and there is also a plan to commence the certificate programs in subjects related to the Public Commission Service (PCS) examination. Study materials will be available after updating the questions related to current affairs.

Currently, the syllabus is also being updated for the current academic session of Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University. As per reports, students of the current session can access the revised study material. They will also get to study the history of Uttar Pradesh and its one of the significant cities, Prayagraj. As of now, the university administration is preparing 30 per cent of its syllabus while the rest 70 per cent will be of UGC.

Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) is a public university in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, named after Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon. Apart from offering UPSC coaching, reportedly for free, it also offers many courses. A few of them are – First Degree Programmes, Post Graduate Programmes, General Diploma Programme, Certificate Programme, Computer Programmes, Vocational Programmes, Professional Programmes, Awareness Programs, Adult & Continuing Education Programmes and Research Programme.
