UPPSC To Enforce Strict Anti-cheating Ordinance For Staff Nurse Recruitment Exam

Thousand of people appear for government recruitment examinations every year. For candidates who are set to appear for the Staff Nurse (Allopathic) recruitment, there is an important update. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has reportedly decided to implement the Uttar Pradesh Government’s Public Examination Prevention of Unfair Means Ordinance 2024, for the upcoming Staff Nurse (Allopathic) Male and Female Mains Examination. The examination is scheduled to take place on July 28, 2024. This ordinance was issued by the Uttar Pradesh government on July 1.

Under this ordinance, there are strict provisions against using unfair means, cheating and leaking or distributing question papers illegally. Involvement in such conspiracies can result in a fine of up to Rs 1 crores and lifetime imprisonment. People who will get indulged in such things will be dealt with strictly. The Mains exam for 2240 seats of Staff Nurses Male and Female is set to be held at several examination centres in Prayagraj and Lucknow. As per the official notification published by the commission, there are around 171 seats for the male candidates and 2069 seats for the female candidates. The examination is set to start from 9:30 AM and will continue till 12:30 PM. Candidates are advised to reach their allocated venue before the reporting time to avoid last minute rush.

This information has been released by the Commission’s Deputy Secretary, Virendra Mani Tripathi. Earlier, the paper for the Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer Preliminary Examination 2024, which took place on February 11, was leaked, leading to the cancellation of the exam. The paper Police Constable recruitment examination was also reportedly cancelled due to a paper leak. Following these incidents, the government of Uttar Pradesh decided to take strict measures and implemented the new ordinance.

The registration process for this examination started on September 4 2023 and continued till October 18 2023. The prelims examination for this drive was held on December 19, 2023.
