Vikrant Massey Reveals Taapsee Pannu's 'Special Gesture' for His Son: 'No One on This Earth…' | Exclusive
Ahead of his upcoming film Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Vikrant Massey spoke exclusively to News18 Showsha about his appreciation for Taapsee Pannu.

After a four-year romance, Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur got engaged in November 2019. They celebrated their union with a private marriage ceremony at their Mumbai home three years later. Last year, the couple joyfully announced they were expecting, and in February, they welcomed their baby boy, Vardaan.

Ahead of his upcoming film Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Vikrant Massey spoke exclusively to News18 Showsha about his appreciation for Taapsee Pannu and shared that the actress was one of the first colleagues and friends to visit and bless his son, describing her gesture as “truly special".

“It was a Sunday and she drove all the way to my home. That was really wonderful," he adds. Vikrant further praises her, saying, “There’s no one on this earth who can bully Taapsee. Jokes aside, she’s genuinely sweet and kind."

In Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Vikrant reunites with Taapsee in a sequel that delves into the lives of Rani and Rishu, who struggle to escape their troubled past but face new obstacles with the arrival of Abhimanyu, played by Sunny Kaushal. The film explores intense themes of love, which Vikrant views differently. He explains, “While the early stages of romance are exciting, true long-term relationships require settling down. Finding peace in each other is crucial. The more serene the love, the better it is."

Following the success of Haseen Dillruba in 2018, Vikrant continues to enjoy the accolades from his recent film 12th Fail. He values the praise but remains grounded, saying, “I cherish every compliment and positive response. It’s what I work hard for. My family and I celebrate a good film for a bit, and I’m always eager for the audience’s feedback—good or bad. Constructive feedback is always appreciated."

Reflecting on his growth, Vikrant adds, “I’ve learned to distinguish between constructive criticism and baseless negativity. If I receive repeated feedback from the public, I take it seriously and reflect on it."
