The ceremony for the 69th National Film Awards was held at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, today. In keeping with tradition, this year President of India, Droupadi Murmu presented prestigious awards to prominent actors and actresses for their brilliance. This splendid event was attended by awardees who had travelled from different cities, including Mumbai, to receive their accolades. Among the attendees were R Madhavan, Alia Bhatt and her husband Ranbir Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Allu Arjun and his wife Sneha Reddy, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and many more. Pictures and videos capturing the celebrities at this grand event have been circulating online.
R Madhavan and producer Varghese Moolan, who collaborated on Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, secured the Best Feature Film award at the National Film Awards ceremony. A photo capturing R Madhavan at the event has been making rounds online. In the image, R Madhavan is seen seated next to S.S. Rajamouli, the director of RRR, presenting a refined appearance.
As for his outfit, R Madhavan opted for a formal and refined appearance. He wore a black, high-collared suit, which added a touch of sophistication to his look. Underneath the suit, he paired it with a crisp white shirt, which provided a classic and timeless contrast. To complete his ensemble, R Madhavan kept his overall look well-groomed. He also styled his wavy hair by slicking it back, therefore enhancing his polished appearance for the event.

Directed, written, and produced by R Madhavan, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is a biographical drama film based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, played by Madhavan himself. The story revolves around the life of the scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation, (ISRO), who was later accused in the ISRO espionage case and was soon exonerated. The movie has hit the theatres on July 1, last year.
Meanwhile, R Madhavan has reportedly signed two new Tamil films. One of these projects is titled Test while the other, directed by Mithran Jawahar, is still in the process of being named. Furthermore, the actor has purportedly signed on for another Tamil film, teaming up with director Manthira Murthy, where he will share the screen with Kangana Ranaut.
This collaboration marks a reunion for Madhavan and Kangana, who previously worked together in the films Tanu Weds Manu and Tanu Weds Manu Returns in 2015.
