AC Milan says Pastore is too expensive
Pastore is on verge of completing move to PSG.

Milan: AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has stated that Javier Pastore is too expensive for the Italian champions, and that Serie A clubs cannot pay the same transfer fees or wages as their European rivals.

The 22-year-old Argentina international is on the verge of completing a 37.7 million pounds move to Qatari Investment Authority-backed Paris St Germain, a fee that the Giuseppe Meazza side could not meet.

Speaking on Saturday, Galliani lamented the fact that Milan could not compete with their rivals elsewhere in purchasing the best players.

"Pastore is too expensive for us now. We followed him some years ago, but we had Kaka in his role," the 66-year-old told Sky Sport 24.

"It's impossible for Italian teams to get 50 million euros players like him or Alexis Sanchez because our incomes are lower than Barcelona, Real Madrid or the other European big teams."

When quizzed about ex-playmaker Kaka, who has not discovered his best form at the Santiago Bernabeu since moving in 2009, potentially returning to the team, the supremo was blunt in his answer.

"Kaka? It's an impossible deal," he admitted.

Of the current frontline, Galliani was also full of praise for a number of his attackers, and maintained they would not leave the club.

"[Zlatan] Ibrahimovic will stay here, he's the greatest striker in the world. Our champions won't leave Milan.

"[Antonio] Cassano? He won't leave unless he decides to leave us."
