Donovan had questioned Beckham's commitment to LA Galaxy.

New Delhi: It hasn't been long since David Beckham returned to his MLS club LA Galaxy but he's been making the news since after his teammate Landon Donovan questioned his commitment.

But just as it appeared that a storm was in the making it seems to have tapered off.

Even though Donovan questioning his commitment to the team but it seems like there is peace in the LA Galaxy camp.

"I'm not going to talk about what was said. That was between me and Landon and the manager. But, it is finished, it is over," said Beckham.

Donovan also regretted his comments on Beckham.

"I do regret some of the things I said. I regret the way it was said. My mistake was that I did not approach it head on. I did not fess up to it as a man. But now I have," Donovan said.

There had been reports of Beckham staying back at AC Milan post the loan contract but with his return, it seems like the plans of moving to England have been put off, for the time being.

"I intend to stay until the end of my contract and maybe further. I've always said that even when I went to Milan I'm committed to the MLS and committed to the Galaxy and that's not changed," said the English midfielder.

Something else that hasn't changed is the 34-year-old's plans to play in the 2010 football World Cup in South Africa.

"Like I said before I need to stay on the England Team. I need to give myself every opportunity to be on the World Cup squad once we've qualified," he added.

Beckham's first assignment with the club this season will be a match on Thursday against the Red Bulls and then over to the big match against AC Milan on Sunday.
