Manchester: Samir Nasri says Manchester City goes into their last-16 rematch against Barcelona in the Champions League with a different mindset, acknowledging that it was "too much of a big game" for his team last season.
Appearing in the knockout stage for the first time, City lost both legs to the four-time champion and were eliminated 4-1 on aggregate 12 months ago.
Nasri says on Monday "I think we respected them too much. We didn't have enough experience to compete with a club like this ... This year is totally different. We are not going to be scared."
Speaking ahead of Tuesday's first leg at Etihad Stadium, Nasri says beating Barcelona are important as City looks to "create our own history" in only their fourth season in the competition.
