New Delhi: The Brazilian superstar is becoming unsettled due to a lack of playing time at AC Milan and Manchester City may benefit as a result.
After a great start to the season for summer signing Ronaldinho, the star player finds himself constantly sitting on the bench at Milan, taking a back-seat to David Beckham, Clarence Seedorf and Kaka, a situation which is beginning to resemble his last few unpleasant months at Barcelona.
In Sunday's impressive 3-0 win against Lazio, Ronaldinho once again spent the night watching from the bench for the fourth straight match, after coach Carlo Ancelotti had received word that Beckham was fit to play from the beginning.
Ancelotti has reiterated numerous times that Gaucho is a fundamental part of the team, but if the current arrangement continues to see the Brazilian left out, he could soon begin to consider his options.
According to Telelombardia, a move in the summer could be the most likely escape route for the former FIFA World Player of the Year, and after a failed attempt at signing Kaka, Manchester City may take the opportunity to bid for Ronaldinho's services.
The player originally refused a transfer to the English club before moving to Milan, but now the situation has changed, and playing time is scarce, forcing the Brazil international to reconsider his future at the Rossoneri.
