Tevez has become a national hero at home after his two goals against Mexico.
Johannesburg: Argentina striker Carlos Tevez says his hunger for a World Cup title is so great "I can't even imagine not winning the cup."
Tevez has become a national hero at home after his two goals against Mexico set up a quarterfinal clash against Germany. He told Argentine newspaper Clarin that he could not bear to lose that match.
In the interview published on Tuesday, Tevez said he was more afraid of Mexico than Germany "because the Mexicans play better football."
Tevez is one of five players remaining on the squad from the 2006 World Cup, when Argentina lost to host nation Germany on penalties in the quarterfinals.
