Al-Hilal star Neymar could not help but laugh after Cristiano Ronaldo got mocked by fans last week. Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr recently squared off in the King Cup of Champions final on May 31.
After the match ended in favour of Al-Hilal, Ronaldo witnessed fans chanting Lionel Messi’s name at the stadium. Amid all this, Neymar, who was present in the stands, was spotted laughing.
The Al-Hilal superstar was seen filming the incident on his phone as the people around him joined in on the Messi chants. A clip of this sequence was also shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). “He’s a troll,” the caption of the post read.

In the 2024 King Cup of Champions final, Neymar took up the role of Al-Hilal supporter after being ousted due to an injury last year. On the flip side, Ronaldo spearheaded Al-Nassr in the final at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
After an intense battle in 90 minutes, both clubs found themselves at a score of 1-1. With no winner decided in 120 minutes, the match went to penalties where Al-Hilal were able to claim the trophy by winning 5-4. The heartbreaking defeat simply proved too much for the Portuguese superstar who was seen in tears after the final.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar had recently met each other at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh for the highly anticipated boxing match between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. Ahead of the fight, both Ronaldo and Neymar were seen talking and laughing together while sporting some trendy threads. The duo then bid each other goodbye with a warm hug.
Coming back to the May 31 game, the blockbuster King Cup of Champions final brought an end to Al Nassr’s 2023-24 season. Cristiano Ronaldo has been brilliant for Al-Nassr this campaign, scoring 44 times in 45 appearances for the Saudi club.
The Portuguese legend will now be looking to recover from this defeat to prepare himself for the next season. Whereas Neymar has not seen footballing action since September last year. The Brazilian had reportedly suffered from an ACL and meniscus tear in the left knee. This led to Neymar undergoing surgery, putting an end to his 2023-24 club season.
