Adam Driver and Joanne Tucker celebrated for their on and off-screen chemistry, have recently welcomed a new addition to their family, a baby girl, as reported by Page Six. The couple, known for keeping their family life private, previously welcomed their first son in 2016. In keeping with their private approach, Tucker was spotted with a visible baby bump in February while grocery shopping in New York City alongside Driver. Despite the noticeable pregnancy, the couple did not officially confirm the news. However, during a dress rehearsal before Adam Driver’s hosting on Saturday Night Live on December 9, the actor reportedly shared the joyous news of their newborn’s arrival with the cast members present on the set. The actor reportedly said, “Last year, I asked for a baby girl and I got it, which is exhausting. So this year, I wish for Ambien.”
The details surrounding the birth time and name of Adam Driver and Joanne Tucker’s daughter remain shrouded in mystery. Similarly, the name of their elder son is still undisclosed. Interestingly, when Page Six initially captured Joanne sporting a noticeable baby bump, she and Adam were also observed carrying a baby reclined bather among their shopping bags.

When Adam Driver and Joanne Tucker welcomed their son in 2016, the news initially surfaced through photos shared on Instagram by Driver’s sister-in-law. These photos were from a joint baby shower celebration where the couple referred to themselves as “new moms.” Despite the public acknowledgement of the event, the couple has generally kept details about their children, including their first son, away from the limelight.
While the Star Wars actor hasn’t extensively discussed his son in public, he opened up in March on Late Night With Seth Meyers. During the interview, Driver candidly shared about his decision to accept a role in 65, revealing that it was influenced by his son’s love for dinosaurs.
He said, “It was like dinosaurs and laser guns, and he’s into dinosaurs, so I was like, ‘I’m in.’ Then, we went, and he kind of knew everything. The guy was introducing [the dinosaurs] like, ‘Oh, this might be a little scary. Don’t be scared.’ He’s like, ‘No. Gallimimus. Eoraptor.’ He was naming everything. He was really into it.”
Despite his son’s keen fascination with the behind-the-scenes aspects of filmmaking, Adam Driver remains hesitant about the idea of his son watching 65 in a theatre, expressing that he finds the film too frightening. Interestingly, Driver revealed that his son, in general, isn’t a fan of watching movies. However, there appears to be a glimmer of hope for the Marriage Story actor when it comes to his daughter.
