Hallow Scythe Overview
The Hallow Scythe is a Mythical sword. To obtain the Hallow Scythe, you must defeat the Soul Reaper in the Haunted Castle in the Third Sea. There's a 5% chance of getting the Hallow Scythe from the Soul Reaper. To summon the Soul Reaper, you must either roll a random surprise from the Death King and get the Hallow Essence, or you must pray to the Gravestone NPC at night.
The Hallow Scythe has high mobility and is great for grinding. If you have the Buddha Fruit, the Hallow Scythe is a good sword choice for grinding. Because of how much mobility the sword has, it's good for escaping bounty hunters. However, this sword will be difficult to get for low-level users since it's a low drop rate and has high mastery requirements. If you can't get (or don't want to get) the Cursed Dual Katana, this is a good alternative.
Upgrading Hallow Scythe
Upgrading the Hallow Scythe gives it +8% damage. To upgrade the Hallow Scythe, bring 8 Demonic Wisps, 800 Bones, and 25 Scrap Metal to the Blacksmith. The Blacksmith can be found in the Pirate Village (First Sea), Kingdom of Rose (Second Sea), and Port Town (Third Sea).
