Draw the numerals 2 and 5 next to each other, as if you were writing "25" on a piece of paper.
Draw a line connecting the right bottom of the '2' to the left bottom of the '5', so they are connected by a line.
Draw a small line connecting the curve of the '2' to the straight line top of the '5'. Essentially, just lengthen the top line of the 5.
Make a loop connecting the top of the 2 to the bottom, creating an oval "ear" for the dog.
Starting from the left top of the 5, draw a semi-circle to create the cap of the hat. You should now have the general shape of the hat-wearing canine.
Draw a little happy face on your dog, putting the eyes between the 2 and 5 and the nose on the curve of the 5, but don't accidentally make it a human face. It is an absolute imperative that the dog not look human, as someone might confuse it and ask it to dinner.
Make sure the dog has a tongue or it will not be able to taste things.
