Snake.io is a fun, addicting multiplayer io game that can be played even if you have no wifi. It can be downloaded for free on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Amazon App Store. Steps

Downloading Snake.io

Download on mobile. On Amazon, go to the Amazon App Store and search “Snake.io”. Click on the Snake.io graphic and select “Get App”. Open the App Store on iPhone and iPad or the Google Play Store for Android devices. Search for “Snake.io” on the Search Bar. Tap Snake.io in the search results. Tap GET (for iOS) and Install (for Google Play) next to the Snake.io graphic.

Download for Nintendo Switch. Players can attack other snakes on console by following these steps. Search for Snake.io and then select purchase. Open “Nintendo eShop” on your Nintendo Switch. Search for Snake.io and then select purchase.

Apple Arcade. Go retro and play Snake.io ad-free without in-app purchases with your subscription. Go to Apple App Store and select Arcade. Search for Snake.io+ and click “GET”.

Netflix Games. If you have a Netflix subscription then you can also enjoy the game by following these steps. On the Netflix App, search for “Snake.io”. Click on the app icon. Click "Get Game".

Before You Start

Change your snake. When you start a new game in Snake.io, you’re automatically given Glow Snake. If you want to customize your snake, tap CHANGE SKINS on the right side of the screen. Tap your preferred snake and click USE. Additionally, you can unlock more snakes by purchasing through the store or doing certain quests. This step is optional.

Set your player name. Use the field on the upper left corner of the screen and input your player name. You can enter up to nine characters. However, if you're playing on Apple Arcade or Netflix Games, your name would automatically be your account name.

Playing Snake.io on mobile

Move your Snake. If you’re playing on mobile, place your thumb on the joystick and drag it towards the direction you want your snake to go. Since Snake.io is also available for players in MacOS, Watch and Consoles, the way you control your snake may vary depending on where you are playing. Tap the Start Big button. This is beside the Play Button; it gives you additional length and makes you move faster for 20 seconds. If you want to eliminate other snakes, use this to your advantage.

Eat all the pellets in the arena. Grow your snake for every pellet eaten. You can earn more points by eating pellets coming from eliminated snakes.

Utilise speed boost. On the lower side of your screen, tap Speed Boost to move your snake faster but this will decrease your points.

Reach the top of the leaderboard. If you are able to last long enough, you will see your name on the top of the leaderboard. The list of the top players can be found at the upper right corner of the screen. You can proudly share your score with your friends and followers on social media after losing a game.
