This wikiHow will teach you how to track a package through DHL using the tracking number on their website or through email, or text.

Steps

Using the Website

Go to https://www.dhl.com/en/express/tracking.html in a web browser. You can use a mobile or desktop web browser to track your package. Just make sure you have the tracking number for the package you want to track.

Enter your tracking number in the tracking number field. You can enter up to 10 different tracking numbers; separate them with commas (,) or return (↵ Enter or ⏎ Return). Your tracking number is normally a 10-digit number. The drop-down box under "Track Now" should already say "Express Service." However, if it does not, you need to click the drop-down box to change it to "Express Service."

Click Track. You'll see this under the "Tracking Number" text field. You should see a list of results appear on the new page.

Using Email

Open a new email. You can use any email service (like Gmail or Yahoo!) on any platform (like your computer or phone) to send an email to request tracking services from DHL.

Put the item's waybill number in the email's contents. If you received an email containing the waybill number you want to track, you can forward it. You can list up to 50 waybill numbers here.

Address the email to "[email protected]." If you're forwarding a message, send it to that email address. The DHL tracking system will pick out the 10-digit tracking number(s) that are located in the email message. If you want to send the email to other people as well, you can add their numbers in the "CC" field and they will receive the response from "[email protected]."

Send the email. You should get a response within seconds of sending the email.

Using SMS

Open your SMS app. This can be the default SMS app you use or a downloaded app, like Facebook Messenger (with SMS enabled).

Address the SMS to "+44 7720 33 44 55." This is a worldwide number that any GSM phone should be able to SMS.

Enter your waybill number in the content. This is normally a 10-digit number. Unlike the other methods where you can add more than one tracking number, you can only add one here.
