Defeat enemies. It's that simple! During the event, mobs that you kill, 100 levels above and below your level, have a chance to drop Hearts. Increase the Hearts you get during the event by grouping up with 3 other players on the server. While you might not see an increase in the amount of Hearts dropped, the chances of them dropping increase. Each friend gives you a 15% bonus that stacks up to 45%, so 3 friends will max this drop chance! Normal mobs that you defeat can give you 0-5 Hearts. Bosses dropped 12-15 Hearts during the 2023 event. The Heart max for the Valentine's Day event in 2023 was 1,250.
Go to the Valentine's Shop to use your Hearts. You'll find the shop in Middle Town, which is located in the First Sea area. You can use Hearts to purchase a variety of stuff, from character restating to items like cloaks that give you bonuses. Note that this store resets every hour, so if you have your eye on something, it may not be available in the store in 2 hours!
