Black Cape Overview
The Black Cape gives you +5% damage, +100 health, and +100 energy. It's a rare accessory that you can purchase from Parlus at Marine Fortress for $50,000 at level 50+. Even though the cape is actually a dark grey, it is called the Black Cape. This is one of the easiest accessories to acquire, being relatively inexpensive and purchasable after level 50.
Black Cape Acquisition
Buy it for $50,000 from Parlus at Marine Fortress. You have to be level 50 or above. You can find Parlus on the Marine Fortress island, which is located behind the Marine starter island. To find this NPC, go to the island and head to the docks near the boat dealer NPC. Turn right from the boat dealer NPC to a watch tower. Climb the watchtower (you need high jumping abilities since the steps are long). Fruits like the Rocket and Bomb Fruits let you jump high with explosive abilities. Once on top of the tower, jump into the tunnel on the floor to get inside, where you'll see Parlus, who sells the Black Cape.
Benefits of Using the Black Cape
It's very good for grinding. Even though the enemies in the First Sea aren't too difficult, the buffs from this cape are very beneficial for someone still fighting in that area. It allows you to stay in combat longer (+100 energy and +100 health) and get a damage boost (+5% damage). This is a perfect accessory for a newer player above level 50. Pros: Great for new players Compatible with any build Cheap and reliable Moderate universal damage increase Cons: Need to be level 50 to buy the cape No movement speed buff
