It's A Wrap For Mammotty-starrer Malayalam Film Bramayugam
Apart from Mammootty, the film features Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan and Amalda Liz.

The shooting for Mammootty’s highly anticipated horror-thriller movie, Bramayugam, has concluded, after extensive filming in different cities of Kerala such as Ottapalam, Kochi and Athirapally. The film’s production company, Night Shift Studios LLP, made the announcement of the shoot’s completion on social media.

The studio shared black and white photos of the completed shoot on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “It’s a Wrap for #Bramayugam!”

Although specific details about Bramayugam remain undisclosed, the producers have confirmed that the film will be an experimental venture, incorporating supernatural and mystical elements, with Mammootty in the role of the antagonist. Producer Chakravarthy Ramachandra of Night Shift Studios had previously released a statement in Malayalam on social media, which can be roughly translated as follows, “Bramayugam is a horror-thriller film that will unfold a narrative rooted in the historical darkness of Kerala.”

“Sharing screen space with Mammookka in #Bramayugam was both an honour and a challenge. It was daunting to act alongside someone of his calibre, but surprisingly, he made it effortless. Mammookka’s guidance and support helped me transcend my limitations and I learned so much from observing his professionalism and dedication to his craft. You truly are a legend, and I am honoured to have crossed paths with you in this incredible journey of cinema. Your embrace of love will always be cherished, a moment that inspires me to strive for greatness in my craft,” actor Sidharth Bharathan said.

Apart from Mammootty, Bramayugam features Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan and Amalda Liz in significant roles. The film’s soundtrack is composed by Christo Xavier and it is directed by Rahul Sadasivan. Bramayugam is scheduled for release in early 2024 and will be a multilingual movie, hitting theatres in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
