In September this year, Ravindar Chandrasekaran was arrested by the Tamil Nadu police in a case of forgery. He allegedly prepared fictitious paperwork, stating that investing in the project to generate electricity from solid waste would yield significant profits, and used this information to con people out of up to Rs 16 crore. A response to the complaint submitted by Chennai resident Balaji had been made in this regard. After serving about a month’s time in jail, Ravindar was released on bail in October this year.
