Chandramukhi 2 is one of the most anticipated pan-India Tamil movies of this year. The film is headlined by the actor and choreographer Raghava Lawrence and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. After the series of postponements, the movie is slated to release on September 28.
The movie is the sequel to the 2005 blockbuster movie Chandramukhi which starred superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. The upcoming movie is directed by P Vasu. The makers have now announced the date of the pre-release event of the movie. It will take place on September 24 at the JRC Convention, Film Nagar, Hyderabad.
The makers of Chandramukhi 2 informed the fans about the same through the platform X (formerly known as Twitter). The entire unit of the movie actors and actresses are going to participate in this upcoming event.

Chandramukhi 2 will be released in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. The film is produced by A Subaskaran under the one of leading production banners Lyca Productions. The Telugu version of the movie is produced under the banner Sri Lakshmi Movies. Apart from the lead actors, the film boasts a list of talented actors like Vadivelu Lakshmi Menon, Ravi Maria, Mahima Nambiar and Subhiksha Krishnan in prominent roles.
The movie has been in the making for years and recently the makers organised an audio launch event. Raghava Lawrence appreciated the cast and crew members at the event. He called the producer Subaskaran “a person who greets everyone with love and is a kid from the heart”. He also appreciated the film music composer MM Keeravani for his music in the movie.
The trailer of Chandramukhi 2 has multiplied the expectations of the fans for the movie. The 2005 blockbuster movie Chandramukhi is one of the best horror movies made in the Tamil movie industry. In the film, Chandramukhi tries to the revenge on Vettayan Raja after escaping from her room. Chandramukhi 2 is expected to show the backstory story between the Chandramukhi and Vettaiyan Raja.
