1 killed, 5 injured in accident

PUDUCHERRY: One person was killed and five others were injured in a road accident here on Thursday.The incident happened when the driver of a jeep lost control, hit a car and knocked down two motorcyclists. One of the motorcyclists, Subramanian, died on the way to the GH. Subramanian, a farmer by profession, was returning to his house in Pillaiarkuppam, after seeing his daughter, studying in a Villupuram.    Dharmarajan (55),  Anbu (59), Paramasivam (50), jeep driver Hariharan (55), all belonging to Kumbhakonam, and another motorcyclist Narendran, a private company employee, were admitted to a GH.
