18 year-old found dead

BANGALORE: An 18-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances near B Channasandra underpass in Ramamurthy Nagar police station limits on Wednesday morning.The deceased, Amir, is an employee of a private company and a resident Kengeri Satellite Town.According to police, he was working for a firm for four months and might have come for work in the morning.Around 8.15 am, some people noticed him lying unconscious on the footpath near the underpass and informed a traffic policeman, who was nearby.The police shifted him to Bowring Hospital, where he was declared brought dead.Later, the traffic police informed Ramamurthynagar police about the incident and a case of unnatural death was registered.However, the police suspect that Amir might have fallen while alighting a bus and hurt himself.Further investigations are on.Woman ends lifeDepressed over her threeyear- old daughter’s prolonged illness, Shyamala, 26, hanged herself at her house in Kalyannagar 4th Main Road in Chandra Layout police station limits on Wednesday morning.She was the wife of Gangadhar, an accountant with a private company.The police said that Shyamala was upset over her daughter’s health.After her husband left for work in the morning, she took the extreme step.The incident came to light when a neighbour visited her house.Chandra Layout police have registered a case in this connection
