BANGALORE: The south division police claim to have cracked 203 cases and arrested 106 people in the past one month. They have reportedly recovered stolen property worth Rs1.86 crore from the accused.
Here is a rundown of some of the notable arrests made by the police in the past one month. The Jayanagar police arrested two bike thieves, Venkatesh alias Basava (23) and Venkataramana (22), both residents of Harohalli in Kanakapura. 50 bikes worth Rs 25 lakh have been recovered from them. They allegedly stole bikes parked in residential and shopping areas by using duplicate keys.
