KARIMNAGAR: The Joint Action committee (JAC) of Telangana Employees Unions has announced that 7.5 lakh employees will take part in Sakalajanula Samme from Tuesday.Talking to newsmen here on Monday, Telangana Employees Union president P Vittal, Gazetted Officers Association president Srinivas, TNGOs Association president K Swamy Goud and general secretary G Devi Prasad Rao after holding the steering committee meeting with leaders of various employee unions, denied the report that there were differences among the JAC leaders on their participation in the Samme. They accused the government of conspiring to suppress the Samme using force. We are determined to ensure success of the Samme by foiling government’s attempts to suppress it, Swamy Goud said.Reacting to labout minister Danam Nagender’s threat that GO 177 would be invoked against the Telangana employees if they participated in the Samme, the JAC leaders said they were ready to face it. Government employees from class four cadre to the level of officer would take part in the strike. The JAC leaders sought support of Congress to ensure the Samme’s success. Congress MLAs, MLCs and MPs should actively take part to achieve separate T, the JAC leaders said.TJAC chairman M Kodandaram, TRS floor leader in Assembly Etela Rajender and YSR Congress district president P Madhu met JAC leaders and extended their support to the stir.
