8 flights diverted, 11 cancelled

KOCHI: Eight flights were diverted while 11 planes, including one international flight, were cancelled from the Nedumbassery airport on Monday.  All flights of SpiceJet airlines were also canceled. The diverted flights are Kuwait Airways 351, IW 555 Jet Airways Doha, IX 434 (Air india Express) Dubai, IW 561 Jet Airways Sharjah and EY 280 (Ethihad) Abudhabi were diverted to Thiruvananthapuram. Air India 934-Sharjah and QR 266 Doha were diverted to Kozhikode.Gy 223 Muscat flight was diverted to Muscat.The international flight cancelled was Saudi 779 Riyadh-Jeddah 1215.
