8 held for group clash

JAIPUR: Kuakhia police arrested eight persons in connection with the Wednesday’s group clash. The accused were produced in court and later remanded in judicial custody after their bail applications were rejected on Thursday.The clash occurred between two groups over construction of a concrete road linking Gopinathapur and Dihakainchi villages under Rasulpur block. Both the groups started hurling stones at each other leaving five of them injured.  Two platoons of police force have been deployed in the village as a precaution. DSP Bipin Bihari Malik is camping at the trouble site.
