Thiruvananthapuram: An 85 year-old-man was killed by stray dogs, according to an eyewitness.
Kunjikrishnan's body was found on Friday night in an open field surrounded by about five dogs.
Eyewitness Sreekantan told the media on Saturday: "When I reached the field, I saw the dogs feeding on the man. His ear, face and right hand were bitten off."
Blood was found 10 metres from the field.
"He was brought dead to the hospital," the officer added.
Last year, two similar incidents were reported in Thiruvananthapuram district involving an aged man and a woman.
