ADGPs Archana, Sekar swap places

CHENNAI: In yet another reshuffle in the higher echelons of the police department, six senior IPS officials, including Archana Ramasundaram, Additional Director General of Police, CB-CID, were transferred on Friday.While Ramasundaram was posted as ADGP, Training, R Sekar, will now take her place. Sunil Kumar Singh, IGP/CoP, Salem, was transferred and posted as IGP, Economic Offences Wing, Chennai, in place of S Rajendran, who has been transferred. K Sokkalingam, IGP, State Crime Records Bureau, Chennai, was transferred and posted as CoP, Salem. M Jayabalan, SP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Chennai, was transferred and posted as DCP, Crime and Traffic, Tirunelveli. M Ashok Kumar, SP, Q Branch CID, was transferred and posted as DCP, T Nagar, Chennai, in the existing vacancy.
