AIADMKs dawn-to-dusk bandh on Lanka Issue

PUDUCHERRY: The opposition AIADMK  has called for a dawn-to-dusk bandh in the Union Territory of Puducherry on March 21 to urge the Centre to support the US sponsored resolution against Sri Lanka for human rights violation at the UN Human Rights Council meeting at Geneva on March 23.This was announced by AIADMK Puducherry unit secretary A Anbalagan, MLA, at a press conference here on Monday.  The party had stuck to its decision despite the announcement by the Prime minister Manmohan Singh to support the resolution against Sri Lanka. “ The party will wait for the Prime minister to make clear the contents of the stand against Sri Lanka following which the party leadership would take a decision,” said Anbazhagan.
