New Delhi: Ajith Kumar's 'Billa 2' didn't get good reviews on its release but the film has done well at the box office. It has done well in the overseas markets also. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, "In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 72,120 [Rs. 61.20 lacs] on 20 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 3,606," in the UK and Ireland.
He also tweeted the data about the film's collection in the US, "Billa 2 has collected $ 1,18,509 [Rs. 64.83 lacs] on 31 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 3,823."
These are the reports from limited screens only, so the real total could be higher than it.
The performance of 'Billa 2' at the Australian box office is also good, "In its opening weekend, the film has collected A$ 48,743 [Rs. 27.20 lacs] on 5 screens, with the per screen average working out to A$ 9,749."
The critics have praised Ajith Kumar in 'Billa 2' but the film hasn't been appreciated overall.
