Three days after the terror attack at the IISc in Bangalore, Andhra Pradesh DGP has denied any arrests related to the case.

Andhra Pradesh: Three days after the terror attack at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore, Andhra Pradesh DGP Swaranjit Sen said that the police have not arrested or detained any person.

Bangalore Police Commissioner Ajai Kumar Singh had released a sketch of the attacker on Friday.

Singh announced that a special team comprising of three assistant commissioners and two deputy commissioners will carry out further investigations in the state.

Heavy security arrangements have been made and more than seven battalions are manning all exit points of the city.

Singh also urged the citizens to come out with any clues or information that they may have on the attack. "Any clue which may help us in the case must not be stopped," he said.

Though he denied that the Karnataka Police would seek help from any other state police, he said he was open to the idea of seeking help from the Intelligence Bureau or the Central Bureau of Investigation.

He also said that the police should be equipped with the latest and the most technologically advanced patrolling systems like mobile policing and interceptor devices.
