As it happened: World Chess Championship, Game 7
Playing with white pieces, Viswanathan Anand managed a draw against world No.1 Magnus Carlsen in Game 7.

The crown slipping away from his hands, defending champion Viswanathan Anand will have to pull himself together and produce a couple of sterling efforts to come back in the World Chess Championship match against Norwegian Magnus Carlsen after a rest day. With the scoreline reading 4-2 in favour of Carlsen at the halfway stage of the 12-match rubber, the Norwegian is well on track to win his maiden world title in his first attempt itself.Carlsen has clearly dictated the course of the match so far and Anand needs to do a 'Houdini' of sorts if he has to remain in the hunt. As things stand, Carlsen needs just 2.5 points to prove youth's supremacy over experience.####
