TIRUPATI : During the recent local fund auditing of TTD accounts, auditors have found variations in the ledger balances pertaining to earnings from the sale of Arjita Seva tickets through banks. It was found that there was variation to the tune of Rs 1.6 crore in the revenue from the sales and the amount remitted to the TTD account in 2009-10.When it was brought to the notice of TTD executive officer LV Subrahmanyam, he said bank reconciliation was being done and the issue was being looked into. He said banks were made the front end for the sale of Arjita Seva tickets and there might have been some variations during closure of books of accounts. Not making all books of accounts online could have been a problem, he said but insisted on bank reconciliation and adjustment of amounts. Whatever was earned from Arjita Sevas must be credited to the TTD accounts, he said.
