Bengaluru: Bengaluru Police on Sunday arrested the accused in alleged rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in Hoskote.
He has been identified as Ambareesh, a 20-year-old man working as a construction labourer. The CCTV footage helped police in identifying the accused.
The incident took place on Thursday and the victim was found dead in a car shed.
