Case against Kumble to be closed?

BANGALORE: Despite an alleged forgery case is pending against cricketer Anil Kumble in the High Court, the Bharathinagar police have closed the complaint, on Monday, citing lack of evidence as the reason.In a notice to the complainant Kumar V Jahgirdar, former husband of Kumble’s wife Chethana, Bharathi Nagar Police Inspector Pramod Kumar B informed  that the preliminary investigations  found no substantial evidence in the charges made against the couple. Reacting to the notice, Jahgirdar said,  “How can they close the case without filing an FIR? I have   documents to prove forgery made by Kumble but police don’t want to investigate it. I will fight for justice.”
