Church move flayed

KOTTAYAM: Angamaly Orthodox Church Diocese Metropolitan Yuhanon Mar Polycorpos on Sunday said that efforts made by the Jacobite faction to create tension by claiming to offer Holy Mass at St Mary’s Church at Pazhamthottam was condemnable. In a statement, he said that the aim behind the move was to stop religious activities in the church by creating disputes.The Jacobite faction, which challenges Court verdict and judicial system, has now taken the road of violence by staging the drama of Holy Mass illegally and at an inappropriate place. This is disrespect towards the holy sacrament, he said.
