Unfortunately, he slipped and fell onto the asbestos roofing of a room beneath,” said Inbaraj, a teacher. From the roof, the boy rolled over and fell on a staircase, suffering a blow to his head in the process.Hearing a thud, teachers in the vicinity rushed to the spot and took the boy to a nearby private hospital, where he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit. Prasanth remained in the ICU on Wednesday too and his condition was said to be serious. “It was just a 10 minute post-lunch interval after 2 pm.The teachers were not aware the student climbed the terrace.
