CHENNAI: The latest term to set the IT world buzzing has been ‘cloud computing’, and the Computer Science, Information & Technology and Master of Computer Applications departments of Saveetha Engineering College organised an international conference to discuss the potential of the service.Cloud computing is the practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer. This gives the user access to information from anywhere, provided they have an Internet connection.The International Conference on Cloud Computing and Services (ICCCS) will cover three days of intense discussions and paper presentations by students and researchers from all over the world. Over 600 students of the college and from other colleges and Universities will attend.
