Congress forms war-level committees

PUDUCHERRY: The ruling AINRC and Congress initiated the electioneering process for the October 12 by-elections.The AINRC began the election process with a meeting of office bearers and party functionaries along with the candidate and senior leaders under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N Rangasamy.He called upon his cadre to work hard so that A Tamilselvan won with a thumping majority. He said some opposition parties AIADMK and Congress had criticised him with regard to non-fulfillment of election promises in the past four months, but played this down saying that there were five years more to fulfil the promises.Meanwhile, the Congress has formed ward-level working committees to campaign for party candidate V Arumugham and stared electioneering from JIPMER ward.
